1. Flat free sliding bearing/ Plain bi-directional sliding bearing: - Plain free sliding bearing bears and transmit vertical load & allows movement in any direction in the horizontal plane.
· 2. Flat guided bearing/ plain uni-directional sliding bearing: - Plain guided bearing along with vertical load bears and transmits horizontal force in one direction only & allows movement perpendicular to that direction.
· 3. Flat fixed bearing:- Plain fixed bearing along with the vertical load, bears & transmits horizontal force in any direction.
